Every year, the Center for Civic Renewal selects a recipient for its Public Service Medal. The award is given to a person who has exemplified the values of the CCR, fostering habits of effective citizen engagement by promoting understanding of American civic society, especially democratic procedures, the rule of law, and civil obligations under our Constitution. The award is non-partisan and has been received by both public figures and private citizens.

To nominate someone for the Center for Civic Renewal's Public Service Medal, please email alexander11@sbc.edu with a proposal of no more than 500 words. Please include both the name of the nominee and an outline of the relevant work he or she has done to further the values of the CCR.
